Pre-Sales Engineer

Role Description

At 3forge, we are developing the next generation of hybrid application development platforms. As a 3forge Pre-Sales Engineer, you will be placed in a dynamic environment with state-of-the-art technology and big data use cases, enabling you to develop your skills and learn new technologies. You will work closely with the sales and engineering teams to showcase the value of our solutions to potential clients, develop proof-of-concept demonstrations, and ensure client requirements are met with 3forge's cutting-edge solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with the sales team to identify and understand customer requirements
  • Creating and delivering technical presentations and demonstrations
  • Designing and building proof-of-concept solutions
  • Acting as a technical advisor for potential and existing clients
  • Providing feedback to the engineering team to improve product features and capabilities
  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and 3forge solutions

Requirements

  • Graduated, or graduating soon, with a STEM degree
  • Experience with SQL and database systems
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or C++
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams
  • Drive to learn new skills and technologies
  • Candidate must be able to work in the UK without requiring any visa sponsorship
  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese, including business-level proficiency, is highly desirable

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with technical pre-sales or client-facing roles
  • Familiarity with Unix, Docker, and cloud technologies
  • Understanding of big data platforms and analytics
