Sales and Marketing Intern

Role Description

As a Sales and Marketing Intern at 3forge, you will play a dynamic and cross-functional role, helping our sales and marketing teams reach out to our target audiences to propel our revenue growth.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the business development side of growing a tech company with an emphasis on data management, lead generation, and industry landscaping of the financial services industry.

Responsibilities

Audience management, Analytics and CRM

  • Capture, augment, and refine data for our CRM detailing possible leads from our relevant audiences to help the sales team form a deeper understanding of their targets.
  • Compile regular updates from fragmented sources of information to update the sales team at a global level.
  • Monitor and report on marketing attribution across campaigns.

Lead generation and campaigns

  • Assist the sales and marketing teams on outreach campaigns from start to finish: segmentation, messaging, creatives, execution, and tracking.
  • Test and report on industry platforms to boot our sales and marketing efforts.

Events and out of home marketing

  • Research and brief the team on possible industry events: alignment, requirements, timeline, and execution.
  • Assist in the preparation of 3forge events, from researching to coordination.

Social Media Marketing

This is a hands-on internship, aiming to transmit some real-world experience in some of the key activities of a marketing and sales team, prepare for a first job as marketing or sales associate, provide opportunities to put into practice approaches and knowledge acquired in marketing courses, and address tangible challenges on a day by day basis.

  • Assist the team in preparing posts and maintain the content calendar for our social feeds.
  • Monitor third-party feeds to suggest engagement and content sharing.

Requirements

To succeed in this internship, we expect that you should:

  • Be enrolled in a 4-year marketing degree or related subject
  • Be passionate about B2B software and technology
  • Be available to work full-time for part of the summer.
  • Have strong research, analytical and communication skills including fluency in AI tools, and data wrangling
  • Curiosity and creative writing skills
  • Excellent English writing, grammar and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated to accomplish tasks and projects

Nice to have

Your profile will stand out if you:

  • Have some coding experience for data management (python)
  • Have prior experience or knowledge in web analytics or web development
  • Have some design experience
