Technical Writer Intern

Role Description

3forge is creating the next generation of hybrid application development platforms. Our software gives developers the ability to quickly create custom web solutions for critical business functions with a focus on workflows, real-time visualizations, and limitless data discovery.

At 3forge, you will develop a strong foundation for professional technical writing and learn to leverage Artificial Intelligence in your day to day tasks. You will be exposed to cutting-edge technology and big data applications in a fast-paced setting. You will collaborate with the NY team to enhance our technical articles/media and write how-to guides for existing and prospective clients.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and understand our product
  • Research and understand technical content
  • Write and publish articles and media on a weekly basis
  • Review and editorialize written or digital content
  • Identify article topics and manage a content schedule
  • Write new documentation / manuals explaining 3forge's product
  • Review existing 3forge product technical documentation

Requirements

  • Strong research, analytical and communication skills: Can effectively understand, discuss and explain complex technical concepts
  • Creative writing skills
  • Excellent English writing, grammar and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated to accomplish tasks and projects

Desirable Skills

  • Understanding of programming, databases, and operating systems
  • Experience with Markdown, video recording, and video editing
  • Marketing and Design experience
  • Experience with a Second Language, Reading & Writing

Compensation Package

  • Expected hourly salary between $20 - $25
